What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Data entered by the user
We collect data entered on our website, including the contact and signup forms. This data is used to provide a customized service. We may share some of this data with third parties for the express purpose of providing our service. For example, credit card data entered would be shared with the credit card processor for the purposes of processing payments, but would not be available to other parties. Generally speaking, we do not share customer data unless it is required for us to complete our service offering or is required by law. We do not sell or rent your data.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for up to one year.
We also utilize cookies on our discover.proimagery.com subdomain to allow for a seamless user experience. You may opt out at any time by disallowing cookies in your browser settings.
By continuing to use the website, you agree that we may use cookies to provide service.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics
We make use of third party analytics (eg. Google Analytics) to anonymously track users and provide a better quality user experience. This may involve the use of third party cookies which you agree to in order to use the proimagery website.
Ecommerce
Those who engage in transactions with Pro Imagery – by purchasing imagery, are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, Pro Imagery collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Pro Imagery. Pro Imagery does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

We share your data with third party providers only for the purposes of providing service. A subset of your data may be provided to the following entities:
Stripe – Our payment processor

Askimet – Our comment spam detection provider
We strive to provide only the minimum amount of data to third parties for them to be able to perform their service.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
